How to Use Smart Text
A Smart Way to Use Smart Text Do you want to easily add hyperlinks to your course documents, but you’re not an HTML guru? No problem. With the Smart Text text field type you can simply enter in the URL and the link will be automatically generated in your course document. There are two ways to complete this process and they are as follows: Method #1: Enter the URL as the first line of text in the text field, as shown in the image below. The course document will appear as below: Method #2: Another way to generate a hyperlink without HTML using Smart Text is to simply enter the web address anywhere in the text box. However, there must be a single space entered before the web address. For example: Following this second method will produce this result: When selecting Smart Text as your text field type, you can quickly create hyperlinks by following either of these two methods. Just remember to add http:// to your web address, and the link will be generated in your course document.
