Viewing Elapsed Time in a Timed Assessment
If the assessment you are taking has a time limit, Blackboard will show the elapsed time in the status bar of your web browser, and will also give you a pop-up window when there is one minute remaining for the assessment. The status bar of your browser appears at the bottom of the window, as is shown in the screenshot below: If you do NOT see the status bar: In Internet Explorer, it is possible to turn the status bar off—if you do not see this bar at the bottom of your browser window, click on the View menu and make sure there is a checkmark next to Status Bar: Also, make sure your browser window is maximized—it is possible to accidentally drag the bottom of a window outside of the viewable area of the monitor.
