The newest Windows operating system, Vista, and the accompanying web browser Internet Explorer 7, and the Safari browser on the Macintosh DO NOT support accessing your college e-mail over the web.

If you have Vista or a Macintosh and wish to access your college e-mail over the web, try using the Mozilla Firefox browser. Lotus Notes DOES NOT support Version 3 so use Version 2

You can also try changing the default interface for your e-mail to the simpler WebMail option. After you enter your password, you will see a screen that says your mail will open in 5 seconds. Click the link to set the default mail client. Then choose the WebMail option and the Submit link.



The college hopes to upgrade the e-mail system during the 07/08 school year, and the newer version should work with Vista/IE7. Information regarding the project will be posted in the Daily Update as it is available.
