The Faith, Values, Women, and Politics lecture
with Catherine Pinkerton, CSJ scheduled for October 14
has been cancelled.
Sister Catherine initiated this action because of her recent decision to remove her name from NETWORK’s list of registered lobbyists and take a partisan stance in this election cycle by joining Catholics for Obama.
The College of St. Catherine does not take stands on partisan issues or favor political candidates.
The Faith, Values, Women and Politics Series aims to rise above party affiliation in order to engage in work for the common good.
