Welcome!

The Learning Center on the Minneapolis campus provides students with a variety of supportive services designed to promote the highest levels of academic, personal and professional achievement.

Professional staff members and peer Learning Assistants provide services and activites at no charge. The center is generally open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Many services are available during the evening and on weekends by appointment. For further information, contact one of the Learning Center staff.

Services provided by the Learning Center include but are not limited to:

• Walk-in tutorial assistance for introductory and advanced courses
• Individualized assistance in writing and composition
• Testing and notetaking accomodations for students with disabilities
• Special services for students for whom English is a second language

The Learning Center exists in partnership with faculty and staff to support and enhance the academic development of all students in our campus community through student-centered activities and services that promote appreciation and respect for diverse learning styles, physical abilities and cultural backgrounds.
