Students making a difference
Nov. 11, 2009 · Bill Smith, from the American Red Cross, presented Student Nurses' Association representatives (left to right, all '10: Brittany Weddel, KC Baumgartner, and Kate O'Neil) with an award for their outstanding community service and assistance. McCollum visits campus
Sept. 21, 2009 · U.S. Representative Betty McCollum, a St. Kate's alumna who is serving her fifth term in Congress, visited the St. Paul campus in September for an update on the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health and a tour of the nursing simulation labs in Whitby Hall. Here, Vicki Schug, program director of the RN-to-bachelor's nursing program, describes to Rep. McCollum how the simulation labs allow professors and classmates to observe a student nurse's interactions with her "patient." More »
