March 7, 2011 · Students from Laura Jeffrey Academy take a miniature science course with Professor Susan Goetz called "Discrepant Event" in Mendel Hall on Friday. In a visit to St. Catherine University, the students learned the value of attending a women's college and had the opportunity to take several mini-courses, ranging from "Art and Identity" and "The Chemistry of Ice Cream" to "Amnesty International." Research symposium brings students to St. Kate's
March 7, 2011 · A conversation tent sits in the Coeur de Catherine at St. Catherine University on Friday, inviting participants in the 1st Annual Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) Undergraduate Research Symposium on Sustainable Urban Communities to stop and discuss their ideas for sustainability. International Montessori Education Week

Dayton also proclaimed it Montessori Education Week in Minnesota. St. Kate's will be represented at the American Montessori Society's annual conference in Chicago in March. Michael J. Study Abroad Fair showcases opportunities for global studies
Feb. 15, 2011 · Jordyn Arndt, peer advisor for the Office of Global Studies, welcomes students to the Study Abroad Fair at St. Catherine University on Monday, Feb. 14, in the Rauenhorst Ballroom. At the fair, university faculty unveiled new and returning global studies programs for the upcoming summer and January terms. Students also had a chance to learn about study abroad programs through two college consortiums. Nursing student honored
Nov. 10, 2010 · Shannon Platten '11, a nursing major, was among seven honored by the City of Mound Nov. 9 for her life-saving efforts in an August 2010 near-drowning incident.
