What I did on my sabbatical: John Boatright

I was on sabbatical for the winter semester. In mid-May, I defended my dissertation on instructional tactics in online discussion, thus completing my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota.

Lucy and I then went on a wonderful and much needed trip to Northern Italy.

We learned so much about the roots of the Catholic Church, Renaissance art and Tuscan wines!

I am immensely grateful to the College of St. Catherine and the School of Health Respiratory Care faculty for allowing me this opportunity to complete this long sought personal objective.
