director of clinical resource development and community partnerships at the Henrietta Schmoll School of Health has received the Moline Award from the Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing for her contributions to nursing locally, statewide and nationally.

The Minnesota Organization of Leaders in Nursing (MOLN) presented Olson with the award at a recognition banquet on October 1. The award — which recognizes leadership, innovation, collaboration and contribution to the profession and states that “a person can make a difference” — was created in 1984 to give MOLN members the opportunity to be recognized and rewarded by their colleagues.

Olson has served on the MOLN Board of Directors three times in her nursing career. She was district representative, president-elect/president/past president and treasurer.
