Carolyn Erler at St. Kates




Carolyn Erler is an artist and writer living in Minneapolis. Her critical writings have appeared in publications such as Public Art Review, Artpaper, Fiberarts, Xcp: Cross Cultural Poetics, and Iris: A Journal About Women out of the University of Virginia. As an artist she has exhibited and/or performed her multi-media works at museums and galleries from New York City to San Francisco. In 1998 she presented “Women in Prison”, an interdisciplinary performance piece using drum machine, theory, and three overhead projectors at the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis.

Carolyn teaches Printmaking, Art & Artists, Non-Visual Art, and Folk Art at the College of Saint Catherine, Minneapolis. She is director of the CSC-Mpls Voice & Vision Student Art Gallery Website.
