The New Testament Greek Reading Group
Wednesdays 5:00 p.m.

The New Testament Greek reading group meets every Wednesday at 5:00 p.m. in Emily West's office. No knowledge of Greek is required to join the group. All are welcome. Please e-mail ebwest@stkate.edu or paklucas@stkate.edu if you are planning to attend. We will make sure to have materials ready for you.

CSC Latin Student Sarah Golv Studies in Denmark

Sarah is spending the Winter 2008 semester in Copehagen, staying with a host family and exploring the beautiful and historic city, as well as other culturally exciting areas in Denmark.

Latin Club, Eugepae Latine

The Classics Department has an active Latin Club, Eugepae Latine! During the 2007-2008 academic year we have been gathering to watch and discuss HBO's popular "Rome" series. Symposium: Seeing Ancient Women

"Seeing Ancient Women," an undergraduate symposium on women and gender in antiquity was held in September 2007. The symposium was generously sponsored through the Sr. Mona Riley Endowed Chair of the Humanities and with generous assistance from faculty at St. Thomas and the University of Minnesota.
