St. Kate’s prepares students for teaching licensure in Minnesota and most other states. Program options include:

• elementary with preprimary specialty
• elementary with middle school specialty
• secondary
• kindergarten through grade 12

Graduate Education Programs

St. Kate's coeducational graduate programs offer options for entry-level, advanced and specialized studies.

• Initial Licensure - for those with a bachelor's degree who want to become a licensed elementary, secondary or K-12 teachers.
• Curriculum and Instruction - an advanced program for licensed teachers.

Montessori Education Programs

Our Montessori programs prepare students to teach in Montessori classrooms with an early childhood or elementary credential from the American Montessori Society (AMS). They are open to entry-level and licensed teachers, and our AM2 online master's program is open to licensed Montessori teachers seeking a graduate degree.
