Kindergarten - Grade 12

The Kindergarten - Grade 12 Initial Licensure program is designed for those with a B.A. or B.S. degree seeking a license to teach Dance/Theatre Arts, French, Music, Physical Education, Spanish or Visual Arts.

All French majors are encouraged to study in a French-speaking country. Courses taken abroad with prior approval of the department chair, may apply to the major. Those qualified in language and business are eligible to apply for a semester of study at the Institut de Gestion (Business Administration Program) at the Université de Rennes, France. Summer internships in French companies also may be arranged.

Students completing a specialty in World Languages take EDUC 580, 583 at the University of St. Thomas (UST) (4 credits).

Master of Library and Information Science


The curriculum is organized around a group of basic courses required of all students. These basic courses cover those aspects of library science that are essential for all library positions. The student's program of study also includes elective courses in library science and in related subject areas, which will equip the student for a special field of library service.
