Registering for Courses
Because the curriculum for the program is prescribed, you will be registered automatically each semester. The exception to this is the elective course you will be required to take in the fourth term of your program. (See
Course Descriptions.)
Your student account must be up to date in order to register. Check your registration and student account through
KateWay.
Blackboard
The course content in the MAED, Curriculum and Instruction Program is presented using Blackboard, a Web based course management system. You can access Blackboard through
KateWay. When you log into Blackboard, the courses in which you are enrolled will appear. Keep in mind that you may not have access to those courses until a few days before the start of the semester.
Textbooks
The textbooks required for each course are available through our
bookstore. You may order the books online and have them delivered, or you may purchase them from other sources. Be sure to check that you are ordering the correct edition. You will need the numbers of the courses in which you are enrolled in order to view or order books. If you live or work near the St. Paul campus, you can purchase your books in person. Be sure to check the bookstore's hours.
