AM²: a Flexible Master’s Option for Montessori Teachers

AM² (Acknowledging Montessori for a Master’s) is a one-year option for Montessori teachers seeking to complete a Master's of Arts in Education (MAED). If you’re currently a Montessori teacher or guide, St. Kate’s will:

• Recognize education you have already completed to meet requirements for your teaching credential from the American Montessori Society, Association Montessori Internationale, or other programs accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (MACTE). St. Kate’s will grant you up to 15 graduate credits for this training.
  
  
• Bring a master’s degree within your reach—no matter where you live or teach—through flexible learning. To complete the remaining 15 credits in this program, you’ll participate in a one-weekend summer learning experience in St. Paul, Minn., followed by a nine-month, web-based course of study. You’ll proceed through the program with a team of Montessori colleagues from other states (and, possibly, other countries).
