      Participant-Initiated Activities

There are three types of participant-initiated activities:

      2. Academic coursework for a graded college class.
      3. Independent study, which may include the independent study packets available on this website or a program of your own design. Apply for CEUs using the independent study form or the form provided in the independent study packet.
You must apply and receive approval of CEU sponsorship BEFORE the activity begins.

PINRA, academic coursework and self-designed independent study CEUs will be processed only for members living in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio and Wisconsin.

Any RID member, regardless of where he/she lives, may apply to the CATIE Center for sponsorship of CEUs using our independent study packets.

Sponsorship of any activity is subject to CATIE Center approval.
