Recipe for a satisfying, productive future:
Combine technological expertise with skills in leadership, organization, relationship building and problem solving to deliver business solutions.

"Many young women think IT means sitting alone at a computer all day — this is not true! Most of my work happens while collaborating with others. The ability to communicate in a way that is easy to understand is as important in my position as the ability to understand technology. My St. Kate’s education gave me all of the fundamentals I needed (finance, communications, strategy, project management, leadership skills and confidence) to be a successful manager at 3M. I recently managed the launch of 3M’s new Web site platform, which was very challenging and exciting! Now I am helping our IT area improve critical business processes using Six Sigma tools."

Yvonne Houle ’91, 3M
Information Systems at St. Kate's is an undergraduate degree program for women blending business and organizational concepts, leadership and team building, and technology and computer science.
