Lynn Schleeter spent 18+ years in a business-to-business sales career before entering the academic world. As a consultant to 3M, she worked with colleges and universities across the country to build awareness about sales careers through the 3M Sales Initiative. In Sept. 1998, she joined the College of St. Catherine to launch the Center for Sales Innovation. St. Kate's is the only college in Minnesota offering a four-year sales degree.
Partnering with major organizations, like 3M, American Express and Pfizer, the Center focuses on delivering leading-edge sales curriculum. Lynn is responsible for structuring internships and positions with employers. She builds strong, long-term relationships for delivering value to the center's partner companies. Lynn has delivered presentations at AACC's annual conference, McCormick's North American sales meeting, 3M Frontline conference, MN Academy of Science and the Network of Executive Women (NEW).
Debbie Stewart

Debbie Stewart taught undergraduate and graduate college courses in audiology and speech and language, practiced in a variety of healthcare settings as a clinical and dispensing audiologist and worked in the hearing industry prior to coming to St. Kate’s in 2002. Debbie’s sales experience includes hearing instrument dispensing, residential real estate and several years as national sales manager for Bernafon Inc., a Swiss-based manufacturer of hearing instrument technology.

Debbie teaches Selling into Managed Careand advises students considering careers in medical sales.
Debbie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education with a concentration in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (audiology, psychology and deaf education) from Western Oregon University. She has done post-graduate work in audiology at the University of Washington.
Gregory Di Novis

Gregory Di Novis is on the business administration faculty and teaches in the undergraduate marketing/management and sales programs and the Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership program.
Gregory held a variety of increasingly responsible positions with Eastman Kodak Co. in the U.S. and in Asia in sales management, business planning and marketing management.
He moved to Tokyo to take the position of general manager for the consumer film business, Japan Region, and later became a general manager and vice-president strategic accounts, Consumer Markets, U.S. Region.
Gregory earned a B.S. degree from Western New England College and an MBA from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

Mary Henderson joined the business faculty in 1998. She teaches Advanced Sales: Strategic Account Management and the Business Internship Practicum. Mary has 18 years of executive experience at corporations. Her work experience includes being a buyer, regional merchandiser, and store manager for B. Dalton Bookseller/Barnes & Noble.
She has also been a national buyer, director, and vice president for The Musicland Group. At Musicland, she led the startup of the book business which grew to $100+ million within three years. In this capacity, she hired a new department, established relationships with the vendor community, negotiated terms and sold new marketing and advertising programs to support the growing business. Her expertise is in negotiation.
Mary holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the College of St. Catherine and an MBA degree from the University of St. Thomas. She is currently a doctoral candidate in educational leadership at the University of St. Thomas.
Martha Hardesty

Martha Hardesty, Associate Professor of Business Administration and Organizational Leadership, came to The College of St. Catherine in 1990. Since then she has taught in a number of programs at the college including Core interdisciplinary humanities and the Master's program in Organizational Leadership. Martha was the first faculty intern with the Sales Leadership Council in the summer of 1998. Her research the summer led to the development of the Ethics and and Integrity in Professional Sales course, a required part of the Sales curriculum. She also worked with 3M personnel in England in 1999-2000 where she led a 3-week course on Sales and Marketing in the United Kingdom.
Martha holds a Ph.D. in Intercultural Communications from the University of Minnesota. She has been on the faculty of various institutions in Minnesota, Ohio, Kentucky, and Japan. Her research interests usually focus on the role of business as a social entity, exploring institutional life as it reflects and creates personal values.

Vickie Lynn Allen

Ms. Allen is currently an Assistant Professor at the College of St. Catherine, where she teaches in the Business Adminstration Department. Ms. Allen's most recent assignment was with the Girl Scout Council of St. Croix Valley, where she served as Director of Membership for 26,000 girl and adult members.
Prior to joining the Girl Scouts, she spent over 10 years in sales with organizations that include: IBM, Xerox, and M&M Mars. Ms. Allen is a 2004 Bush Leadership Fellow. She currently serves on several boards and volunteers with numerous community organizations.
Ms. Allen received her Masters in Public Administration from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and her Bachelors of Science degree from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York. |  |
