Sonography
Welcome to the Sonography web site. Sonographers are health-care specialists who use ultrasound (very high-frequency sound waves) to produce images for medical diagnosis.
The College of St. Catherine-Minneapolis specializes in health-care training. Our associate of applied science degree program prepares graduates to take the national registry exam to become a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer. The program is sequential and will take two years, including summers, to complete. Courses begin in September and are primarily scheduled during the day. Our program helps students master sonography concepts and techniques through a careful blend of liberal arts, technical courses and clinical training.
