Welcome to the Social Studies Web site. This major is designed in compliance with Minnesota regulations for students preparing to teach this subject in secondary schools. It includes study in anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology and sociology. Students choose five courses in one of the social sciences to gain a particular area of expertise within the major. In addition, all requirements for licensure in secondary education must be met. |
