Banner Project
Training
ALL USER TRAINING
There are three levels of end users in Banner, and each has different training requirements:
- Query: Most members of the college will fall into this category. We believe that most of what needs to be learned at this level can be done through on-line tutorials, but will also provide support through a variety of Open Houses and presentations at staff/faculty meetings as needed.
- Reporting/Maintenance: These are the people who enter record data for a department. They will be required to go through on-line tutorials for data standards and FERPA, and then to attend workshops prior to getting access.
- Power Users: These are people who are Banner configuration decision makers. Most have already attended training as part of their current jobs. There will be a training plan for employee turnover in these positions.
