• Expanded Walk-In Hours next week for Career Fair Prep! Come see a career counselor Monday or Tuesday, October 13 & 14, 9am-Noon for quick Career Fair Prep Walk-In.

• New Tuesday Walk-In Hours have been added to schedule! General Walk-In Hours have been added on Tuesdays from 11:00am to 1:00pm

• On Sunday, October 12 at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, Springboard for the Arts invites all college and high school arts students- from all schools and artistic disciplines- to attend "So You Want to Major in Art, Music, Dance, or Theater, but Then What?" a workshop where a panel of local artists, from a variety of artistic disciplines, will offer insights into pursuing a career in the arts. Parents of arts students are also welcome to attend. While free to attend, attendees should pre-register online at www.springboardforthearts.org or by calling 651-292-4381. Please register today! Space is limited.

• What Are Healthcare Employers Looking for? Listen to a panel of healthcare professionals discuss how to make a great first impression, what they look for in a quality resume, interviewing tips and more. Must RSVP via KatieClick calendar to attend, a light lunch will be provided. Come early or stay late to mingle with employers. Great preparation for the Career Opportunities Fair! • The Shadow Program Pick Groups are now available through KatieClick. If you are exploring career options, or even just curious to know more about what careers look like for a certain major, shadowing a professional in your field of interest can be a real eye-opening experience. Log into KatieClick to sign-up for one of the scheduled Shadow Pick Groups (search the calendar for Programs & workshops for a list of dates and times) offered through October and November to learn more. • The Government Job & Internship Fair will be held October 24, 10am-3pm on the University of MN-Minneapolis Campus. The fair brings together local, state and federal agencies with students and alums from the 31 participating Minnesota 4-year colleges and universities.
