Community Leadership Program
Fall 2008 Community Leadership Program students
The Community Leadership Program is an off-campus student employment program where students develop their professional skills and leadership capacity, while also engaging in meaningful work within a community organization or school. Positions through the Community Leadership Program utilize the unique skills of underrepresented students at community sites and provide opportunities for work experience, leadership development, networking, and resume building.
While working in the community, students develop professional skills and leadership. Students are supported by a site supervisor and program coordinator at St. Kate's, have regular meetings to evaluate and reflect on their work, and participate in monthly seminars with other students in the program.
