Service-Learning

Community Work and Learning partners with a number of academic departments on campus to offer service-learning courses. In these classes, students spend time at community sites working with and learning from community members.

Students then connect their experiences to classroom learning and the course goals and objectives. Service-learning courses focus on critical reflection, civic responsibility, local community needs and the enhancement of academic skills.
