“I worked as a Civic Engagement Coordinator for two years. My work at CWL centered around service-learning. Interacting with students, community organizations and faculty members gave me the opportunity to refine my professional communication skills and understand how to build relationships. It also helped me understand how great a learning experience can be when structured well. My current position requires that I employee those skills daily. Building solid professional relationships as a recruiter is essential. Most recently, my office brought in an intern that I oversee. The lessons I learned about meaningful learning experiences at CWL are things that I’ve made a point of employing within my company’s internship program.

“Since graduating, I started to work for a small management consulting firm as an IT Recruiter in Minneapolis. I’m still there recruiting and have since taken on a logistics role within our office. My position has grown out of a need within the company and a desire on my part to learn more about the business structure.

“My time at CWL was great! The hard and soft skills that I learned are things that I use every day. The environment was always fun, challenging and rewarding. I have excellent memories of the entire experience.”
