Off Campus Student Employment

At St. Kate's, we are dedicated to providing students meaningful work in the community. Our two off-campus student employment programs are America Reads Tutoring and Community Leadership Program.

Both programs allow students to have work experiences in the community.  America Reads tutors focus on supporting preK-12 students' academic achievement.  We currently work with 3 schools and 2 community organizations in Minneapolis and St. Paul, sending tutors in a St. Kate's van to tutor twice a week. Community Leadership Program is independent internship-like positions at community organizations where students play a leadership role in the work of the organization; these positions are for the academic year at minimum.
