Health Insurance & Payment Policy
All registered St. Kate's students, with or without St. Kate's insurance, are eligible for care at the Health and Wellness Center. Our clinic will bill St. Kate's insurance only. We do not bill outside insurance. Students with outside insurance can charge their student accounts for any charges. Cash and debit/credit cards are not accepted methods of payment. If you choose to bill your student account, you may pay off your account at the Student Accounts office, located on the second floor of Derham Hall.
There is no fee to see a provider. Our office does not charge co-pays for either the office visit or medications purchased. For those without St. Kate's insurance, fees may occur due to lab work, procedures or medications provided. The provider will discuss any charges with you before they occur.
Students with St. Kate's insurance are covered up to $300 for immunizations.

Signing up for health insurance
If you are an undergraduate student, you are automatically enrolled for the insurance until you waive out of it. If you are a graduate or WEC student, please
enroll here.
Waiving health insurance
Please sign into
KateWay, click on the Campus Resources tab, and look in the "What's in your backpack" channel to waive health insurance.

If you are waiting for your permanent insurance card to arrive in the mail, please stop at Health & Wellness to obtain a temporary insurance card. If you have waited longer than eight weeks for your insurance card to arrive in the mail, please call the St. Catherine University insurance plan manager at (651) 697-9291.
