Health Insurance & Payment Policy

All CSC registered students, with or without CSC insurance are eligible for care at the Health and Wellness Center. Our clinic will bill CSC insurance only. We do not bill outside insurance. Students with outside insurance may either bill their student account or pay with a check for services. Cash and debit/credit cards are not accepted methods of payment. If you choose to bill your student account, you may pay off your account at the student accounts office, located on the 2nd floor of Derham Hall.

There is no fee to see a provider. Our office does not charge co-pays for either the office visit or medications purchased. For those without CSC insurance, fees may occur due to lab work, procedures or medications provided. The provider will discuss any charges with you before they occur.

2007-2008: Students with CSC insurance are covered up to $300 of immunizations.

If you are trying to find a hospital, clinic, or specialist that accepts CSC Preferred One Insurance, click on "Find a Provider" in the left hand corner. Click "accept", then "next". Fill in information as needed to search. Preferred One: Find a Provider

Waiving health insurance: please sign into your Kateway account, click on the CSC Information tab, and on the right side, click on Health Insurance: Waive.

Signing up for health insurance: If you are an undergraduate student, you are automatically enrolled for the insurance until you waive out of it. If you are a graduate or WEC student, please enroll here.

If you are waiting for your permanent insurance card to arrive in the mail, please stop at Health & Wellness to obtain a temporary insurance card. If you have waited longer than 8 weeks for your insurance card to arrive in the mail, please call the CSC Insurance plan manager at 651.697.9291.
