Amy Langer is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of SÁLO, Oberon, and NumberWorks, LLC, three Minneapolis-based staffing firms that have grown to $42 million in revenue and more than 300 employees in less than six years. In her current role, Langer’s primary focus is on growth, training and long-term business development strategies. In 2007, Amy was awarded top honors as “Entrepreneur of The Year” in the Women Presidents’ Organization and Entrepreneur Magazine search of women entrepreneurs in the U.S. and Canada. One year earlier, Amy and SALO co-founder John Folkestad, were recognized by Ernst and Young as the “Emerging Business Entrepreneurs of the Year” for the Minnesota and Dakota Region. Also in 2006, SALO was ranked #3 in the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal’s “Fast 50 Fastest Growing Private Companies." Last year, SALO joined the ranks of the “Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America.”
