GetConnected Annual Conference

Healthcare Entrepreneur Conference 2008

Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Innovation

On May 8, 2008, the 8th Annual GetConnected! Conference was held at the College of St. Catherine. The conference joined 131 women entrepreneurs, business owners, professionals, and investors for an informative and inspiring luncheon, workshops, roundtable discussion, and VIP reception.

The conference began with greetings and networking before being seated for the luncheon and empowering keynote from Linda Hall Whitman, former CEO of MinuteClinic, who shared her success story of transforming MinuteClinic into a healthcare dynasty.

The afternoon continued with insightful healthcare entrepreneurial workshops presented by industry-leading experts:

A roundtable discussion, facilitated by Archelle Georgiou, MD, Georgiou, LLC, enabled workshop leaders to share their entrepreneurial wisdom to the women business owners in attendance.

The day concluded with a VIP wine reception which included the launch of Better Health & Living magazine, a new Twin Cities healthcare publication.
