Kay Phillips is the president and part owner of ATEK Companies, a privately held group of companies headquartered in Minneapolis. Since joining ATEK, Kay’s passion has been to rapidly grow the Companies’ medical business. Medical revenues are now approximately 50% of total revenues. Phillips has more than 25 years experience in manufacturing and is a recognized expert in lean manufacturing. Phillips is a founding member of the Twin Cities chapter of the Women’s President’s Organization and participates in a number of organizations to promote women and minority-owned businesses.
