Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment

The Office of Institutional Research, Planning and Assessment (IRPA) collects, analyzes and shares data that informs decision-making, planning and effectiveness at St. Catherine University.

Our researchers collect, analyze, report and warehouse quantitative and qualitative data about St. Kate's students, faculty, staff, curriculum, course offerings and learning outcomes. The office is the source of much of the information we provide to regional and national accreditation bodies to document how we fulfill the standards for accreditation.

In addition to reporting, our researchers engage in data analysis, ranging from simply testing whether differences in reported data are statistically significant to developing predictive statistical models to support assessment and strategic enrollment management.

Services

Data collection and analysis services are available to the entire campus community upon request as well as through regularly scheduled reports. Visit the office's internal website accessed via KateWay for more information.
