The Office of Institutional Research and Planning (IRP) is the central administrative unit for reporting data about the university. One of the primary functions of this office is to share data that support the college's effectiveness, policy-making, planning, and decision-making. Data collection is available to the entire campus community upon request as well as through regularly scheduled reports.
The Office of Institutional Research & Planning
    • supports institutional decision making and policy development by providing research and data to decision and policy makers
    • serves as the source of institutional data and coordinator of data distribution to the college community, federal and state agencies, and national guidebooks
    • provides pertinent data for enrollment management policy and procedure decisions
    • initiates and coordinates dialogue among departments regarding data quality issues and informs policy decisions
    • is a resource to academic and administrative departments for survey and research design
