Wireless Access Expanded at St. Kate's

News! April 30th, Mendel Hall & Library: Secure Coverage has been expanded in Mendel Hall. All floors now have access points. The extreme ends of each floor (East and West) remain blacked out from coverage, but all classrooms should permit access.

Library coverage has been expanded to the South end of the first floor and the commons area of the ground floor. Planning is underway for expansion to the Minneapolis Library, but no installation date has been set.

February 13th, Mendel Hall - Secure Coverage has been installed in Mendel Hall. Existing Access Points were replaced and new ones intalled on 4th floor. You must now 'log in' when you use wireless to read webmail or access anything on the St. Kate's Home Page. Please see setup instructions below.

News! Secure Coverage in the CdC Library has been added to the North End, Reference Desk area. Coverage does not extend to Faculty Study or Conference Rooms at the south end to the library.

Wireless Access was also expanded to the Minneapolis Campus this Fall and new access added in the Coeur de Catherine common areas.

Please note that all new access points require the wireless software to be setup for a secure network.
Follow the instructions for Windows or Macintosh settings to add profiles for CSC-student or CSC-staff.
These profiles require logging in using your Windows network username and password. The domain name is CSC.

The CSC-Guest profile access does not permit use of web-mail, Kiosk or other College web systems.
