Parent Orientation (Fall)
Hmong, Latina, and Somali Parent Orientations serve as a time dedicated to informing parents about the St. Kate university experience so that they can be as supportive of their daughters as possible.
Retreat (Sept. 14-16)
This retreat helps international and students of color forge a community with one another, get to know MIPS staff, and work on personal development. Please sign up in the MIPS office. There is a $20 deposit. The deposit is refundable upon attendance at the Retreat.

Recognition Dinner for Graduating Women of Color (Spring)
MIPS assists students in preparing a semi-formal ceremony and dinner to recognize graduating international students and women of color.

Sister Alberta Huber Intercultural Leadership Award
This award is named for a former president of the university, and is given to students who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and contributed to intercultural awareness on campus.
