Working with Kay Tweeten as a research collaborator has given me the confidence and skills necessary to embark on a career in biology [Beth is currently applying to Physician Assistant Programs]. It was a wonderful opportunity to develop a friendship while working with a faculty member in my department, learn the research process and generate data that will be used in the future.
