The Otto Bremer Foundation has awarded a challenge grant of $150,000 to the Core Minors program at the College of St. Catherine. The Core Minors program is an innovative, interdisciplinary model of engaged learning that prepares students to respond to the complex issues challenging our communities today.
By linking core requirement courses together through a compelling contemporary theme, Core Minors equip students with the intellectual skills and values needed to effectively participate in grassroots, local, national and global political discourses and processes.
Congratulations to Dr. Marla Hanley and all the faculty who have worked so hard to create and implement this exciting new liberal arts initiative.
