February 1, 2009 - We are pleased to announce that the College of St. Catherine has received an Extramural Associates Research Development Award (EARDA) from the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) in order to strengthen institutional capacity for research and to promote research and grant-seeking in the biomedical and behavioral sciences. This is the third such grant that the College has received. The award of $237,000 over two years will infuse substantial internal grant monies for biomedical and behavioral science research and will allow the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) to continue in its efforts to further advance and support research endeavors at the College. The grant's leadership team of Lynne Gildensoph, Beth Koenig, Andrea Olson and Kirsten Walters would like to thank past and present Office of Research and Sponsored Programs Advisory Committee members for their feedback on the proposal.
