Third MN Report Card on Environmental Literacy

February 19, 2009 - Congratulations to Dr. Tony Murphy and Dr. Andrea Olson for their successful completion of the Third Minnesota Report Card on Environmental Literacy. For more information, visit St. Kate's faculty members author "The Third Minnesota Report Card on Environmental Literacy."

February 14, 2007 - Congratulations to Dr. Tony Murphy (Education) on receiving a contract from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) for approximately $77,000 to coordinate the Third Minnesota Report Card on Environmental Literacy. Tony has successfully developed and managed the previous 2 report cards on environmental literacy. Tony will work with Dr. Andrea Olson (Psychology) to finalize the data analysis and write the report.

For this report, Tony will again create a working group of key constituents to help develop questions pertaining to Minnesotans' knowledge about, attitudes toward, and behaviors related to the environment. The telephone survey will be conducted by MarketLine Research (Minneapolis), collecting responses from 1,000 Minnesota adults. The final report will be submitted to the MPCA for public dissemination.
