Faculty Development Opportunities
There are a number of faculty development opportunities for St. Catherine University faculty that support the development of faculty as teachers and scholars.. These include:
Travel Awards to assist faculty with expenses to present their research and scholarly work at professional meetings and conferences.
Curriculum Development Awards to provide funding for new course development, significant revitalization of the existing curriculum, and projects that improve learning outside the classroom.
Study Abroad Course Awards to provide funding for the development and teaching of a study abroad course.
Sister Antonine O'Brien Awards to provide funding for the development and teaching of a Global Search for Justice course.

Community Work and Learning also administers the Community Work and Learning Faculty & Staff Professional Development Award to facilitate the integration of community work and learning into new or existing curriculum and or research, promote collaboration with community partners and organizations, and contribute to the professional development of faculty and staff.
