Minneapolis Parking Information
As you plan your visit to the Minneapolis campus please be aware that parking in this area can be challenging. The only parking spaces available on campus are reserved for those with Minnesota State Handicap permits or St. Catherine disability permits.
On-street parking is available on the east side of the campus around Riverside Park, primarily on the park side of the street.
The city monitors all meters closely. Residential streets are restricted to one-hour parking, except by permit. Permits are issued to neighborhood residents by the City of Minneapolis. Some short-term, 2-hour, metered parking is available throughout the Fairview-University Medical Center vicinity. Tickets are frequently issued for expired meters so this can be an expensive parking option.
South of I-94 there is considerable unregulated on-street parking.

Associated Colleges of the Twin Cities (ACTC) shuttle bus
As an alternative to parking at Minneapolis, a shuttle runs regularly from the St. Paul campus to the Minneapolis campus. With a St. Catherine parking permit, you can park your vehicle on the St. Paul campus and enjoy a free shuttle ride to the Minneapolis campus. All buses are equipped with a lift to accommodate riders with special needs as well as bike racks.
