| Transfer Credit Evaluation |
|
Undergraduate transfer students need to submit an official transcript from each previous college; based on this transcript, they may be admitted to the college.
Undergraduate students usually receive credit for baccalaureate work at any regionally accredited college. Grades and honor points transfer as well. Students who plan to take a course at another college must submit a course description to the Office of the Registrar and request approval before taking the course. If the course is in the student’s major or minor field of study, she also must obtain the department chair’s permission. Graduate-level students will have any possible transfer credit evaluated by their graduate program director.TRANSFERING SUMMER CREDITS
Before you enroll in a summer course away from St. Catherine, you must request permission to transfer credit from the College of St. Catherine Office of the Registrar by completing the online form titled "Request for Transfer Course Pre-Approval". Pre-approval protects you from taking a course that will not transfer.. The senior residency requirement states that at least 24 of your final 32 credits must be registered for at St. Catherine. Therefore, you may transfer no more than 8 semester credits of your final 32.
ALL APPROVED COURSES MUST BE PASSED WITH AT LEAST A "C-" GRADE IN ORDER TO TRANSFER TO THE COLLEGE OF ST. CATHERINE.
Transfer courses in your major or minor field requires the written approval of your department chair.
You must order an official transcript from the registrar of the institution you attend and mailed directly to the CSC Registrar.
