Parents Primer on Global Search for Justice (GSJ) course
You’ve heard about St. Kate’s introductory course, The Reflective Woman now hear a panel give an overview of the other “bookend” of our core curriculum, The Global Search for Justice. Faculty will describe how they create a common capstone experience while exploring important topics of justice: Women & Work, Environmental Justice, Dismantling Racism, Voices of Dissent, and more.

Study Abroad at St. Kate’s: Who, What, Where, When, Why and How?
Is your globally-minded student considering studying abroad? Join us for an interactive session on study abroad opportunities for a semester, year, J-term, or summer, presented by the Office of Global Studies and a panel of former study abroad students. Planning ahead for these experiences is important. The Study Abroad Fair for students is a unique opportunity to meet and talk with representatives from the study abroad programs we use. Encourage your student to attend.

Supporting Your Daughter’s Academic Goals in Pursuing Graduate School
Is graduate or professional school in your daughter’s future? A panel of faculty graduate school advisors, career development professionals, and faculty who have recently completed graduate school will discuss the application process and timelines, and give advice about helping your daughter prepare for this next step in her life.

Spotlight on Community, Work and Learning Program
Community, Work and Learning is an office that fosters partnerships to raise awareness and generate action on social justice issues. Students are asked to fulfill unmet needs identified by community leaders and are provided with structured times to reflect on civic, social and inter-cultural issues. Come and learn more about the office’s programs, including students’ experiences working in the community.
