Goals

Taking the time to consider your professional and educational goals, and putting them in writing is something that we do not often do. To write a plan and follow through will probably require you to make some changes in how you think about your professional development and how active the role is that you play in steering your professional growth.

Activity 1:
Take a piece of paper and explore the question: "Why should I have a professional development plan (PDP)?" If you are working with a group of colleagues, generate your responses independently, then discuss your answers as a group.
