Kristen Gerlach is a graduate of St. Olaf College (BA '93) and The University of Iowa (MPT ‘95). She practiced as a physical therapist for several years prior to earning a PhD in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York in 2003.
Dr. Gerlach teaches general physiology, exercise physiology, and nutrition components of the physical therapy curriculum. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the International Society of Sports Nutrition.
In her free time, Dr. Gerlach enjoys marathon running, Pilates, and photography. She lives in Prior Lake with her husband Todd and four young children.
