Mary Weddle received a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Arcadia University, Glenside Pennsylvania, and a Doctor of Science degree in geriatric physical therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, Provo, Utah in 2007. She holds a bachelor's degree from St. Olaf College and a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Iowa.
Dr. Weddle is an Associate Professor, Director of Clinical Education, and Co-Director of Curriculum for the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at St. Catherine University. Her clinical background is in the area of adult neurologic rehabilitation and she has worked on-call in geriatric subacute care.
Dr. Weddle is a credentialed trainer for the American Physical Therapy Association Clinical Instructor Credentialing and Training Program (Basic and Advanced) and is treasurer of the Northern Plains Clinical Education Consortium. Her research interests are in the areas of physical therapist education and exercise behavior in older women. Dr. Weddle has studied and practiced tai chi for over 10 years.
