Curriculum Vitae »
I've been in healthcare for over 38 years. I started as a nursing assistant in high school and fell in love with taking care of people and the human body.
Duing my healthcare career, I've worked in nursing homes, home care, clinics, hospitals and the education system. I found in each one of my roles, whether as a nurse working in the hospital, or the clinic administrator, I spent time mentoring and loved this as well. I find great joy in sharing my experience and stories with whoever is interested! I also enjoy the ever changing technology in healthcare and the new discoveries that make the job and life so interesting.
I have two great kids, a son and daughter and three grandchildren that I am fortunate enough to see every weekend.
My favorite quote is: " What you are is God's gift to you, what you make of yourself is your gift to God". Anonymous Author.
I believe my job is to help students succeed in becoming a great "gift".
