Mary Wagner has served as Chair for the Information Management Department and Program Director for the Masters of Library and Information Science programs. She was president of the MN Library Association. She is active in numerous university and professional organization committees and served as the principal investigator for The Urban Library Program, funded by two grants from the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
Mary was an American Library Association Library Fellow (1991) serving in Lesotho, Africa, and a recipient of a Fulbright Scholar grant to lecture at the University of Zambia, Lusaka, in 2010–11. She blogs about her experience at At Home in Lusaka.
