CARE is a telemetry unit that works with cardiac and renal patients.
CSSU is a specially designed cardiac short stay unit that evaluates patients showing symptoms of heart attack.
On both units I was caring for 3-5 patients. Duties consisted of evaluating the patient, monitoring their telemetry, monitoring labs, administering medications and teaching patients surrounding medications, treatments and diagnoses.
