Sook Lim

Sook Lim is a native Korean and has been teaching at St. Kate’s since fall 2004. She teaches courses on research methods, management of librariesand information centers, and social aspects of information technology and digital information literacy. She will be teaching LIS 7620, Literacy and Community Engagement, Fall 2013. In the past, she has taught courses on introduction to LIS, reference and database management.

Sook is an active researcher studying both human information behavior in Web 2.0 environments and academic libraries. She is particularly interested in credibility issues concerning user-generated content such as Wikipedia. She has published her articles in Journal of American Society for Information Science and Technology, Journal of Academic Librarianship, Information Procesing & ManagementLibrary & Information Science Research and First Monday.

Currently she serves as a St. Kate's IRB member.
