Curriculum Vitae »
I joined the SCU nursing faculty in January, 2000, as part of the Associate Degree Nursing Program faculty. Since that time, I have taught in the first year of the program. I like working with beginning students--their enthusiasm for nursing, their wonderment and hopes are a source of energy for me. I added teaching in the Masters of Nursing Education option when that option began and with another faculty member, taught the first course offered in the NE option. I became a Professor of Nursing at SCU in 2006. I continue to balance educating beginning undergraduate students and beginning nurse educator students. Each group provides unique opportunities for me as an educator.
During my spare time I enjoy canoeing, cross-country skiing, camping and weaving.
