? What is the cost of the conference?
The cost is $100.00. The fee includes sessions, continental breakfast, lunch, and snack for two days. Dinner is not included. Evening activities are extra and do include a buffet supper. Payment confirms your registration. Registration for pre-service teachers is $45. College of St. Catherine alumnae may pay the discounted rate of $85 up to the day of the conference.
? How do I register?

? Are CEUs available for this conference?
Yes, registrants only need to request a certificate as a part of registration.
? Is graduate credit available for this conference?
Yes, teachers can earn 2 credits for attending the conference and preparing a library research paper following the event as a part of Summer Session II at the College. Click on Graduate Credit for more information and registration forms.
? What is the advanced registration deadline?
Register online by Monday, May 15, 2006 for the $85 rate. After that the rate increases to $100.
? How about parking?
Parking is free and plentiful in the summertime. You will see signs on campus that a pass is required, but actually not during summer months.
? Are overnight accommodations available on campus?
Yes, attendees may stay in College of St. Catherine residence halls. Indicate your need for a dorm room on the online registration.

Visit BODY WORLDS and other science and technology exhibits in the museum’s galleries. BODY WORLDS features almost 200 authentic human specimens, revealing the anatomy of entire bodies, individual organs, and transparent body slices that have been preserved through the process of plastination, a technique that replaces bodily fluids and fat. The Bakken: A Library and Museum of Electricity in Life, Minneapolis
Enjoy a surprising performance about Mary Shelley, the mother of science fiction, and tour the museum. Have coffee and dessert with the actress who portrays Mary Shelley after the performance. The Works: A Technology Discovery Center, Edina

The Forum at Minnesota Public Radio
Dr. Diann Jordan will be speaking in The Forum at Minnesota Public Radio about her new book Sisters in Science, Conversations with Black Women Scientists on Race, Gender and Their Passion for Science. The event will begin with a presentation by Dr. Jordan following by a dialogue with audience members drawn from the scientific and technology communities. Dr. Jordan's appearance will be recorded for possible radio broadcast and is being considered for C-SPAN's Book TV.
